The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) launched its Young Entrepreneurs Network (YEN) on February 25 2004. It aims to nurture entrepreneurship among young people and promote local enterprises. Its target age group is business people and professionals who are below 40 years of age and new start-up company of less than 5 years of establishment.
Besides holding regular bi-monthly activities, the SCCCI also sets up an Intranet for the members of the YEN to exchange their business information, contacts and ideas. The YEN encourages young entrepreneurs to harness this network to play a useful role in community service.
The YEN benefits from its affiliation to the 100-year-old SCCCI’s vast international network and expert resources which span all industries and trades. The SCCCI has 120 Trade Associations members and 4000 corporate members including those belonging to the Fortune 500 elite, government-linked companies, and Enterprise Award recipients. From time to time, the YEN invites representatives of these eminent corporations and other successful entrepreneurs to address its members during YEN experience sharing sessions and skill development workshops.
Members of the YEN can, in their overseas venture plan, tap on the SCCCI’s international network, which it has developed over the years with its counterparts in other countries and regions including the many provinces and cities in China. As a SCCCI-YEN member, you can enjoy the following benefits and privileges:
-
Free Access to the YEN intranet / database

Free listing of company profile on the World Chinese Business Network (WCBN) website
